Dear Parents
It has been a difficult weekend as we watch the developments of the latest outbreak, and for many of us it’s too close and personal. Please reach out to us if there is anything we can do to support your family.
Over the weekend, I’ve shared our increased safety measures with you. I received some inquiries about the definition of the various levels of contact. We’ve prepared the attached visual to help clarify this for our community. We are suggesting that children with second or third level links to stay home for 3 extra days as an extra precautionary measure, particularly because children under 6 y.o. are not tested by officials. We appreciate that this is an extra measure and we are grateful for your support.
Once again, we thank you for your unwavering support as we manoeuvre through these challenging times together.
Kind regards
Audrey and the Hillside Team
Thank you to parents who were able to attend the webinar on Sleep Solutions for Early Years with Gemma Fisk. Some of you have asked for a recording of the webinar, Gemma has kindly agreed to share it with us HERE.
During the webinar, Gemma shared:
The benefits of sleep and how much sleep our children really need
Creating the perfect sleep inducing environment
Identifying sleep disorders
Should you sleep train and is it really necessary for every family
We hope you found it useful, especially during these restless pandemic days.
