Dear Hillside Parents
It’s hard to believe that it’s the last week of term! I want to thank the incredible team here at Hillside for the first term. I am always grateful for their continued dedication, adaptability and professionalism during changing times. More importantly, the team has consistently put the needs of children first and has continued to put our children at the centre of all we do.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all the parents who supported us in different ways this term. Your contributions from facilitating play dates outside of school, being a parent volunteer or storyteller in class, and attending our parent webinars are appreciated. We are extremely grateful for the support and communication we have continued to receive from our parent community.
We wish you a very merry and safe holiday with your families. We look forward to 2023 with more optimism as the city brushes off those "Covid cobwebs."
To finish the term with some special festive cheer, please be reminded to come in festive clothing!
Warm regards
Audrey
Unfortunately, we will have to postpone the Winter Family Picnic due to the poor weather. We had so much fun last year and really wanted it to go ahead this year. We were so hopeful :(
We hope to postpone this event to January (Friday, 20 Jan), but again it all depends on the weather.
Tomorrow will be a school party for the children only, and school buses will run as usual. Unfortunately, due to space, we cannot accommodate all parents.
Although Santa can't come to the beach, we can still invite him to visit our classes :) Please come in your festive clothing!
Spread some festive cheer this season with our ESF Happy Holidays e-card. This joyful design was created by one of our youngest learners - four-year-old Aadhya Swain, who is a student at ESF Tsing Yi International Kindergarten. Aadhya’s art was selected by our Chief Executive Officer, Belinda Greer, as part of our annual ESF-wide art challenge. “The standard of art submitted this year was incredibly high, so well done to Aadhya and all our talented student participants from K1 to Year 13.” This bright and cheerful card can be downloaded from our ESF website.
