Dear Hillside Families
I hope everyone is keeping dry and warm these past few days. We will continue to monitor the weather conditions and make adjustments accordingly by keeping the children from outdoor play in the cold weather if necessary.
Luckily the weather was lovely this past weekend. Congratulations to all marathon runners in our community; I hope our runners all safely participated and enjoyed the races
Continuing with the focus on physical wellness and sportsmanship, please take note of the details on our upcoming Sports Fun Day below.
Warm regards
Audrey
We cordially invite all parents to join us at our Sports Fun Day on Thursday, 8 February, at the Indian Recreation Club (63 Caroline Hill Road, So Kon Po, Causeway Bay - across from the HK Stadium).
The weather should be nice and cool as we engage in fun activities and games designed to encourage the children's participation in physical activities - e.g. egg & spoon races, obstacle courses, three-legged race, What’s the time Mr. Wolf? We hope our parents will join in the fun, so bring along your team spirit!
Sports Fun Day Class T-Shirts
We would like the children to wear a coloured T-shirt to add to the atmosphere on the day. Please have your child wear a (predominantly) plain, coloured t-shirt to the event per the list below. The T-shirts do not have to be identical!

Frog - GREEN
Panda - WHITE
Monkey - PURPLE
K2 Classes

Hong Kong Stadium provides 41 parking spaces ($7/30mins), which are open for public use on non-event days. There are also public parking meters outside the IRC.

With a few weeks until the Lunar New Year, our Chinese teachers have started exploring various cultural aspects with the children. As part of our celebrations, we have booked the Bradbury School lion dance team to perform for our children on Wednesday, 7 February. We invite everyone to come in bright colours or festive clothing on this day.
