Confirmation of School Place and Advance Fees for 2026/27 - ESF International Kindergartens
Dear Parents
As we approach the end of the school year, we are writing to let you know the procedure to confirm your child’s place for 2026/27. If you will be withdrawing your child and have submitted the Withdrawal Notice to your school, please ignore this letter.
Every year, parents need to reserve a school place for their child for the following year by making an advance payment of September’s fees as a surety.
Advance Payment
The advance fees for K2 students in the next academic year are as follows:
| ESF Abacus International Kindergarten |
$10,300 bi-lingual class $11,970 |
| ESF Hillside International Kindergarten | $10,130 |
| ESF Tsing Yi International Kindergarten | $10,660 |
| ESF Wu Kai Sha International Kindergarten | $11,140 |
Students who will be transferring to the new kindergartens—ESF Renaissance College Kindergarten, ESF Quarry Bay School Kindergarten, and ESF West Kowloon Kindergarten—in the upcoming school year are required to pay the advance fee based on their current kindergarten to secure their place.
Students transferring from ESF Tung Chung International Kindergarten to ESF Renaissance College Kindergarten next school year are required to pay the advance fees of $10,160 or $11,790 for bilingual class students, which are the current fees.
These advance fees will be used to offset the tuition fees for September 2026. If there is a revision of fees in the next academic year, the difference will be payable in September 2026.
Please note that your child’s school place will not be confirmed if we do not receive your advance fees before the payment due date or if there are any outstanding tuition fees on the account without prior arrangement at the beginning of the next academic year.
Settlement
The advance payment will be debited from your designated bank account on 3 August 2026. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds in the account.
If you have not set up the direct debit authorisation yet, please complete the Direct Debit Authorisation Form and send it back to ESF Centre, G.P.O. Box 11284, Hong Kong by 1 June 2026 as it may take up to six weeks for the bank to process the direct debit.
If your monthly tuition fees are being settled by your employer directly, please make the payment by cheque on or before 15 July 2026:
Student Withdrawals
If you are withdrawing your child at the end of this academic year, please submit the student withdrawal notice via the ESF App by 1 June 2026. Otherwise, we will assume that your child is returning after summer and parents are liable for the tuition fees for September 2026 even if the student does not return to school.
Should you have any queries regarding the above, please contact our Billing Team at billing@esfcentre.edu.hk
We would like to thank you for your cooperation on this matter, and we wish your child every success in 2026/27.
Yours sincerely
Vivian Cheung Julie Wong
Chief Financial Officer ESF Head of Admissions

Parents
I wanted to follow up my message to you yesterday about ESF Hub with an invite to an introductory Webinar about the product.
Kindergarten ESF Hub Parent Information Webinar:
27 May 6:30-7:30 PM
Register here:
https://esf-learning.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_kBoGxGLHReWCIHw8LkL-IQ
At this session we will give you a demonstration of the key features of ESF Hub and explain when it will roll out, the training materials that will be available to you and also begin the conversation about how it will look in your school.
For those of you who cannot make this session, don't worry, we will send out a link to the recording afterwards.
As I said in my message yesterday, this is a major upgrade to our systems. It will bring with it a whole host of benefits, particularly for our students. Change of this nature can often be tricky, but you have our commitment that we will be doing everything we can to make sure that you are ready to use ESF Hub when it launches with you in the new academic year.
I look forward to seeing you soon.

Parents
I wanted to write to you to let you know about the progress we are making with the rollout of ESF Hub.
I am sure you have heard about this, but in case you have not: ESF Hub is our new, 'one-stop-shop' app and desktop platform designed to bring everything related to your child’s ESF journey together into one convenient place.
As well as carrying out important tasks such as reporting absence, reading reports and catching up on all the latest news and events from your school, ESF Hub will, for the first time, allow you to gain real insight into what and how your child is learning at school.
Five ESF schools joined the pilot rollout in August 2025. Having learned from their experience, we are now ready to onboard additional schools for the upcoming academic year. Depending on each school's specific requirements, they will join ESF Hub in either at full capacity or via a phased approach starting this August. The following schools will be joining us for the next stage of the journey:
All ESF Kindergartens
All ESF Primary Schools
ESF Jockey Club Sarah Roe School
ESF King George V School
ESF Renaissance College
ESF West Island School
If you have a child at one of these schools, we will shortly be launching the parent information and training programme. The aim of this work is to make sure that you are ready to master the basics of ESF Hub on the first day of term. Your school will then continue to update you over the course of the school year with all the other, more advanced features of the product.
Crucially, if you are part of this rollout, you will no longer use the current ESF App from August 2026.
If your school is not listed as part of this latest phase, we will be in touch with you again to let you know when you will gain access to ESF Hub.
This means that you will continue to use the current ESF App and other existing systems if your child attends:
ESF Discovery College
ESF South Island School
ESF Sha Tin College
This is one of the biggest programmes of system improvements that we have carried out in a long time. It will bring real benefits to you, to our staff and, most of all, to our students.
Like all changes, there will be bumps in the road. However, I want to assure you that we will do everything we can to make sure that you will be able to first use the product efficiently for the most important tasks, before opening up all the opportunities to be a bigger part of your child’s education that ESF Hub offers.
I will be in touch with you again soon with more information.
As always, thank you for your support of your school and of ESF.

Dear Parents,
Keeping your child safe is our top priority at ESF.
I would like to share our Safeguarding and Child Protection Brochure with you. This document explains how we work to protect your children from harm.
You may be aware that Hong Kong has introduced a new law regarding child protection. As of 20 January 2026, our teachers and staff are legally required to report serious safety concerns to the authorities. We view this as a positive step to ensure children's safety, and all our staff have been trained on this new law.
We want to work closely with you to keep your child safe.
If you ever have a worry or concern, no matter how small, please come and speak to us. It doesn't have to be about a major incident; it could simply be a feeling you have or something you are unsure about.
You can speak with your school's Principal, or contact your school's Child Protection Officers directly. Please visit your school's website and go to the "What we stand for" section. You can find their contact details there.
Our doors are always open to you.
Sincerely,
Mark Blackshaw

Dear Parents,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer. As the first school term approaches, we kindly remind you to register your child for the school bus service as soon as possible if needed.
School Bus Arrangements
Our school bus service is run by an outside company, Kwoon Chung Motors Company Limited.

Schedules: The Bus Company will tell parents about specific bus pick-up and drop-off points and times about one week before school starts.

Fees: Bus and escort (bus mother) fees are paid each term, no matter the distance.
Private Arrangement: This bus service is a private arrangement between parents and the bus company.
Application: If your child needs school bus service, please apply using the registration link as soon as possible.

K1 Induction Weeks: For K1 induction weeks, to help with a smooth start, the full bus service will not be available. In the second week, if your child will be taking the bus, please do not wait at school to say goodbye, as this can increase anxiety. A quick and cheerful drop-off helps your child settle in.
Any questions, changes, or concerns should be sent directly to Kwoon Chung Motors Company Limited.
