Dear Hillside Families
I am filled with pride as I reflect on the incredible work of our team and school! Over the past few weeks, we have welcomed several visitors from the ESF head office, current and prospective parents, as well as colleagues from other ESF schools, including our CEO, Belinda Greer. The positive feedback we have received from all parties is a testament to the professional dedication and hard work of our staff.
I would also like to take a moment to highlight the invaluable partnership between parents and teachers. It has been truly wonderful to see so many parents volunteering their time to support learning at school! Your participation has a significant positive impact on the children's overall learning experience. Together, we are fostering a strong home-school partnership—Team Hillside!
Thank you for your continued support and involvement!
Warm regards
Audrey
We cordially invite all families to join us at our Hillside Winter Picnic on Wednesday, 11 December. It will be an informal social event as it's the first social community gathering with all the families. We want to provide an opportunity for families to mingle and enjoy the time together. We will run two separate sessions for the morning and afternoon classes.

What to bring:
Please complete the trip eNotice to confirm your attendance. You can access the Gateway eNotice via the ESF App, and see a "new eNotice to fill in now."
We are looking forward to seeing you all!
We want to express our gratitude to all the parents who have actively supported our communication efforts by setting up WhatsApp groups and sharing helpful information. Your continued involvement will greatly foster a strong and connected community.
After a few rounds of call-outs, we now have designated Class Parent(s) for most classes. Our senior leadership team met with the Class Parents last week to kick-off this initiative. We are excited to introduce our designated Class Parents for this academic year (this was shared in a separate message). We want to thank the Class Parents for volunteering their time to support our school community. We are optimistic that the involvement of our Class Parents will enrich the experience for all.
We are delighted to invite parents to join our first Shared Learning Day, which will be held on 29 Nov at Hillside for all classes. This will be an opportunity for you to join in your child’s learning as part of their current unit Sharing the Planet. Please take note of the following details:
It is not a normal full-session school day. Families are invited for a 45-minute session. Please look out for a separate app message to sign up now.
We invite up to 2 grown-ups (parents and caregivers welcome) to accompany their child to the shared learning day.
Non-uniform/casual dress: Children are welcome to wear their own clothes to school, but no costumes or character dress-ups, please.
Please be reminded that we are unable to provide parking.
There will be no bus service on that day, we ask for your understanding and assistance on this exceptional occasion.
We look forward to the children sharing their learning with you on this special day!
