Dear Parents
We have had a very smooth start to the new academic year. It was lovely to catch up with all the returning children, parents and staff the past week, and I look forward to getting to know our new children and families.
If you plan to change your child's going home arrangements, you must inform the bus company and Hillside Admin Team (via the app) or call us on 2540-006 for any last-minute changes.
On this note, please be reminded to always have your pick-up cards with you when you collect your child at school or from the school bus for safety reasons.
If you drive your children to school, please be reminded not to park in front of the Hillside or Bradbury exit gates. Please be mindful of parking etiquette and that we are in a school zone. Be swift and no unnecessary honking. Parking is always going to be problematic given our location and limitations on Stubbs Road, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation with this request.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Kind regards
Audrey and the Hillside Team
This term, we will be hosting a series of Parent Hacks (virtual meets) to build a home-school partnership, bringing our community together to share tips and ideas related to your child's learning and development.
Our leadership team will host the Zoom calls. We will be sharing ideas for activities and routines to support families at home. At the end of the session, parents will have the opportunity to stay on the call to connect, share tips or chat.
The first session will be on 8 September, with two timeslots options.
WELLBEING: What is wellbeing and why is it important? Maslow before Bloom! As the new school year begins, we need to focus on the children's social and emotional learning, including building connections and relationships, so that they can be the best that they can be.
Please click to register: 9-10am session OR 1:15-2:15pm session
Thank you to those who have attended the info session last week. Please refer to the attached infographic for some key info on the ESF K2 - Y1 transfer application process.
