Dear Parents

Last week, we had a few visitors from ESF Centre. On Wednesday, Alan Milliken, Director of School Performance and Quality Assurance, and Trish Oliver, Head of Quality Improvement and Support, came for their second visit this term. We continued discussions on school development priorities for Hillside and collaboration opportunities with ESF Centre and feeder schools.

On Friday, Belinda Greer, ESF CEO, visited and spent some time in the classrooms. It was a very positive visit. Belinda was very impressed by how well the children had settled, their level of concentration, and engagement. Our discussion also covered the through-train experience, learning support/ early intervention and the K2 to Y1 transitions.

Thank you to every member of our school community. It is all of your unwavering support that makes Hillside shine. We will continue to work in partnership with our parent community with the children's best interest at heart.

The upcoming K2 Parent-Teacher Conferences is available for sign-up in phases, and it's now open for you. Please make an appointment via the app at your earliest convenience to secure a time to meet with your child's teacher.

• Dragon & Tiger Class - 23, 25 November

Please note classes will continue as per usual throughout the PTC weeks. The appointments are about 10-15 minutes long for each child. Please appreciate that these are the dates when we have arranged cover for teachers and we would like to keep to them as much as possible.
