Dear Parents

We are navigating challenging times. However, we continue to work hard to ensure our children get the best possible online experience.

As mentioned last week, we discussed different scenarios where we may experience increased staff absences due to illnesses or compulsory testing requirements. Unfortunately, last week, we started finding ourselves in this position with a few of our staff members who were unwell and unable to join us online. Some of you might have noticed Stripey wasn't at assembly last Friday as he has completely lost his voice. 

We may face additional challenges over the coming weeks. In response to the changing circumstances, there could be a change of activity, a change of staff, or a shift to asynchronous learning for the day.

We appreciate your support and understanding and will keep you updated on our plans and any required changes.

ESF has forged partnerships with external providers to supplement and support distance learning provisions. 

A programme of live engagements (Zoom webinars) has been designed around the following four themes:

• Dance
• Wellbeing
• Arts and crafts
• Storytelling

The live sessions will aim at two differentiated age groups:

• 3 to 5 years old
• 6 to 11 years old

We are very excited about the focus on Early Years and look forward to sharing more details about the programme in the coming days. We anticipate the programme will be starting from Monday 14 March; watch this space!
