Dear Hillside Families
We were not expecting a typhoon in November, but with the unpredictable weather, please be reminded of our inclement weather arrangements.
I want to thank everyone for swiftly changing to distance learning mode. I know it's more complex than jumping online as we appreciate parents will still have to manage work and teachers will have to settle their own families. As mentioned previously, distance learning might be outside a regular timetable structure and can be synchronous or asynchronous. It is also important to note that this is optional, depending on your home situation.
The forecast is rain for the rest of the week. Please note on those very wet rainy school days, we will have to change some of our pick-up or drop-off routines to keep everyone dry (or as dry as possible). We will use the main foyer for pick-up or drop-off during heavy rain.
Warm regards
Audrey
