Thank you to the Kennedy Lion Dance team for the fantastic show today. Our children and teachers truly enjoyed it!

It’ll be a busy term following our return from the Lunar New Year break. Please take a look at the upcoming events and make a note of the upcoming dates.

All ESF Kindergartens will be closed on Monday, 30 January 2023, to conduct their K1 play visits and admissions process. Please note that this will be a non-school day for current kindergarten children. This is the first year we could invite all applicants for an in-person play visit since COVID. We thank you for your understanding and support on this matter. 

K1 Storyteller slots for Term 2 are now open for sign up, please look for a separate app message that includes a sign up sheet for your class. We are excited to invite parents that haven’t had a chance to come in last term. Happy reading!

PTC sign-ups are coming soon after Lunar New Year. Please look out for a separate app message after the break with further information and make an appointment at your earliest convenience. You will have a choice of 2 days, appointments are about 10-15 minutes long for each child.  Please appreciate that these are the dates when we have arranged cover for teachers and we would like to keep to them as much as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on 2540-0066.

These meetings will take place via Zoom, so please be reminded to Zoom from a quiet space to avoid poor audio connections. Please also note it will be a normal school day for the children as classes will continue as per usual throughout the PTC week.

Last term, we joined the HK Greening School Subsidy Scheme 2022-23 and have documented our learning and explorations of living things, with a special focus on plants! Thanks to everyone for helping us care for the plants over the holidays. The children have thoroughly enjoyed their plant explorations through this scheme and have gained a life-long appreciation for the natural world! Please take a look at our activity log.

Speaker: Joice Almeida is a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist and a specialist in the field of Feeding Therapy.
