Dear Hillside Families

We are grateful for your support during today's K1 Celebration of Learning (Arts Open Day) and last Friday's K2 Celebration of Learning Ceremony despite the unfavourable weather. Your presence and participation in these events truly made a difference in our children's learning experience.
Seeing your children proudly showcase their learning and achievements was a true joy for all of us. Thank you to all the parents for joining these special events. It means a lot to the children and our teachers. It has been such a pleasure and privilege.

Working together in partnership, we have provided your children with a joyful and enriching learning experience. Thank you!

I hope the children will have a memorable last few weeks of school filled with joy and laughter. Please take note of the Water Fun Day details below. Also, it will be a dress-down party day for the children's end-of-year party.

As we near the end of the school year, we will begin taking inventory of all books in the library. Please remember to return all library books to school by this Friday, 21 June. Returning the books on time will help us efficiently organise and update our collection for the upcoming school year. 

If, by any chance, you are unable to locate a book, we would greatly appreciate a book donation in lieu of the missing one. Your support will contribute to maintaining a well-functioning library for all students to enjoy.

As the school year is coming to an end, and with the weather getting hotter each day, we have planned a Water Fun Day for the children to have some summer fun together. We are very excited to bring back this popular event with various water activities in our outdoor area where the children can have a dip n' splash. There will also be some indoor activities for those who prefer to stay dry.

Please have your child wear their swimmers, and don't forget waterproof sunscreen and mozzy spray in advance. Wear water shoes/ trainers on this day.  Please also pack a towel, a change of clothes and shoes on this exciting day. All must be clearly labelled and packed in a waterproof bag. Get ready for a day filled with fun and frolic!

Things to remember:

• Label everything that your child will be bringing to "Water Fun Day"
• Make sure your child comes into school wearing their swimmers
• Towels
• Waterproof sunscreen and mozzy spray in advance
• Swimming goggles
• Water toys / soaker (not buckets)
• Dry clothes 
• Water shoes / trainers
• No socks
• No accessories - i.e. jewellery, fancy hair accessories, watches
• Plastic bag for wet clothes
